    Does anyone use the program?  It sounds quick, easy and a good value.  An AmeriCorp Alum told me about it.

    , but it seems odd that they require my directors name and date of birth.  Before I ask for that information, I'd like to know who else is using it.   Here is their web page;

    Several years ago, when I was with Habitat for Humanity in Colorado, I submitted a presidential service award application for long-time volunteer because it was very important to him, personally. The process was fairly easy and not overly time consuming, and the award was a meaningful display of recognition for this particular volunteer. I left Habitat shortly after the award was granted, so he was the only volunteer for whom I submitted an application. Depending on the volunteer, it might be a valuable recognition tool. However, I can imagine that some volunteers may not appreciate an award that has particular political connotations. Like any recognition tool, the award's usefulness would probably vary from volunteer to volunteer. Best of luck!

    Sorry for the lateness in my reply.
    During my 6 years at Medical Teams International we did these and it was fairly easy and the award was highly valued by the volunteers. They loved portraying their pins on their volunteer lanyards :) The Date of Birth for the Executive Director was always odd but I think its a verifying function?
