Do any NOVAA members want to talk strategic planning? My organization is in the process of developing our next 3 to 5 year strategic plan. As part of that process, I am interested in hearing from others what trends, including opportunities and challenges, you foresee for the next 3 to 5 years that might impact volunteer engagement (i.e. increased interest in virtual volunteering, etc.). I'd also love to learn more about how other organizations incorporate community engagement, including volunteer engagement, into their organization/agency strategic plans. Incorporated through all priorities/strategies? In a stand-alone piece that includes a vision and highlights goals/priorities for engagement? Or not at all (ugh - but it probably happens, right?)?
