As part of Lewis & Clark College's New Student Orientation, all new undergraduate students are invited to participate in 3 hours of service with a community partner. The college plans this annual event to help new students connect with each other and the greater Portland community while completing meaningful service projects.

I am forwarding this announcement to help the college identify new partners and, perhaps, help out your organization with any short-term, team based projects you may have coming up.  Details are below:

WHAT: Lewis & Clark College's New Student Orientation Service Day
WHEN: Saturday, August 31, approximately 1:00pm - 4:00pm
WHERE: Portland area nonprofits, schools and parks (sites closer to campus may be given preference)
MORE INFO: Each site should allow for at least 15 volunteers to serve for 3 hours. Some funding will be available to reimburse confirmed agencies for tools & materials costs related to these projects.

DEADLINE: Please complete this form by Friday June 21, 2019
