Providence is calling a Volunteer Coordinator Hospice - Hospice of the Gorge (0.6 FTE, Day) to Hospice of the Gorge in Hood River, OR

We are seeking a Volunteer Coordinator Hospice - Hospice of the Gorge that will recruit, screen, interview, train, assign and supervise volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator also provides volunteers ongoing educational opportunities, support and recognition. Other responsibilities include: communicating with members of the interdisciplinary team, assessing and coordinating volunteer assignments, maintaining documentation pertaining to volunteer services, maintaining data base and personnel files for the volunteers, and keeping the volunteer program in compliance with Providence Policy, The Joint Commission, and Medicare standards.
