Hello,
Our organization has pretty solid procedures in place for dismissing volunteers that have already been engaged and denying volunteers that fail their background checks. We are starting to run into a few potential volunteers that we have identified as not a good fit due to their initial interactions with staff and/or phone interviews. Can we deny potential volunteers on this basis? Has anyone else run across this issue? Do you have guidelines and procedures that you follow for denying a potential volunteer? Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.
