The NOVAA Learning Community – Volunteer management professionals gathering around relevant topics to both teach and learn from their peers in facilitated conversations.

This November, we'll be discussing the world of online volunteer orientation and training -- what works, what doesn't, what tools are out there, and how to best create online orientation and training modules that effectively engage, orient, and instruct.

Please join fellow NOVAA members for this peer-to-peer discussion; to kick off the topic, we will hear from Multnomah County Library's Liza Dyer, who brings an enthusiastic understanding of the tools available and will share her own experiences of what has and hasn't worked well. Liza's co-facilitator will be Amanda Andrews, Volunteer Manager for World of Speed.

Most of the session will be spent in peer-to-peer discussion, so please come with your ideas and questions about online orientation and training.
