A NOVAA Learning Community event is where volunteer management professionals gather around relevant topics to both teach and learn from their peers in facilitated conversations.
In December, please join us for a group conversation focused on creative strategies, shifting perspectives and brainstorming around bringing new volunteers into your organization. We will consider and address possible barriers, real and perceived, to recruiting volunteers for your programs.
Participants will re-evaluate what ‘accessible’ means in your volunteer program. Discuss techniques for re-framing volunteer opportunities within your program to draw in new people. Talk about working with groups, businesses, and other organizations that become sustainable partnerships.
There will be time for peer-to-peer discussion focused on dynamic volunteer recruitment, so come with your ideas and questions for fellow NOVAA members!
