In this Learning Community, Amy Stout will be presenting on coordinating one time event volunteers. From establishing needs, to recruitment, training, supervision, and recognition. After her presentation, there will be time to share your own insights on what makes coordinating episodic volunteers successful!
Amy Stout is currently the Community Engagement Coordinator with Friends of Tryon Creek. She has been coordinating volunteers at Portland area environmental non-profits since 2001. For many of those years, she has been a member of NOVVA and served on the NOVAA Board. She enjoys sharing resources and skills related to volunteer resources to help make the profession rewarding and impactful. When I’m not at work chatting with my co-workers and volunteers, I’m at home tending my own backyard habitat, or out with friends finding new ways to enjoy this lovely city.
Learning Communities are free for NOVAA Members and just $10 for other guests.
